Question Discussion Transfer between platforms

I don’t have many brokerage accounts, but I’m wondering what the norm is for transferring funds between different platforms within a single broker.

I’m referring to a situation where a player has an account with, for example, Asianconnect and transfers funds from PS3838 to Orbit Exchange or elsewhere.

How does this work with different brokers? Is it always free, or do some charge fees for such transfers? What’s the waiting time after the order is placed? I’d love to hear your opinions on this and how it all works.
